When T emailed me about his proposal, he was looking for some ideas as he had never been to Banff National Park before. I knew just the right spot for him to pop the question!
The Banff Gondola is situated on top of Sulphur Mountain and offers such stunning views of all the surrounding mountain tops. The spot can be either accessed by hiking up or by taking the gondola ride up. There is a beautiful boardwalk here as well which makes the views limitless. The Banff Gondola offers outstanding panoramic views of the town of Banff and the Canadian Rockies from 7486ft (2281m). The gondola ride itself is 8 minutes long and you make as much as a 700 meter gain in elevation.
The weather forecast wasn't looking so promising with lots of rain showers predicted to be happening for the weekend of their proposal; however, we were blessed with no rain and great visibility for this special proposal and I am thrilled by how it all worked out!
