Vianna and Danny planned a trip to Revelstoke with some friends for a pastor's conference and decided to combine this unforgettable trip with their elopement! Vianna and Danny live in San Diego, so a snowy winter wedding was very different from the landscape there get to see back home.
~~~~ come read about this beautiful Winter Elopement in Canmore, at Policeman's Creek ~~~~~
Our plan was to have the ceremony and the portraits in Lake Louise, but after spending only one night in Canmore, Vianna and Danny fell IN LOVE with our town and decided to change the plan and have the wedding take place in Canmore instead.
Vianna, Danny, their friends, and family members stayed in Spring Creek in Canmore, and wanted the ceremony to take place right next to their accommodation, at Policeman's Creek. Their friend commissioned their ceremony, and their moms (along with their partners) flew in to Canada as well to be there to witness this special moment.
This wedding ceremony was filled with happy tears, laughter, and Jesus. It was a beautiful sunny winter day and the most perfect celebration of their love and their commitment to each other.
After the ceremony and family pictures, Vianna, Danny, and myself drove to Rundle Forebay Reservoir for their bridal portraits. The reservoir was still completely frozen over and the mountains views were breathtaking.
How stunning did Vianna look? With her being a hair stylist, she did her own hair, her friend did her make up, and her best friend made her the bouquet with the flowers from a local grocery store. This goes to show you that don't need anything extravagant to have a beautiful, meaningful, and joyful wedding day.
Congratulations Vianna & Danny! I am so thankful I had a chance to be there to capture your beautiful winter elopement in Canmore!
