This amazing little family travelled all the way from Australia to visit our part of the world. They travelled to many places in Canada, including Whistler, Banff, and Lake Louise. They wanted to have some family photos taken during their vacation, and I was absolutely thrilled that they chose me to be their family photographer and that we were able to do this family session at Lake Louise together.
We were hoping for a beautiful sunset session with clear skies and lots of sunlight. However, as it often happens in the mountains, the weather was quite different than we anticipated. However, the gloomy windy day did not turn us away from capturing these sweet memories for this family, and their spirits remained positive and hopeful.
I am so happy this family went ahead with their session despite the less than ideal weather, as I am so pleased with the images that resulted. Some editing, their beautiful pastel outfits, and their AMAZING attitudes makes it seem like a warm sunny day at Lake Louise (at least for winter, that is!)
This family stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise ( https://parks.canada.ca/pn-np/ab/banff/info/permis-permit/mariage-weddingwhere ) where they enjoyed stunning views of Lake Louise, skating in the lake, gingerbread house decorating, and many more activities that make for the perfect winter family getaway. And now they have these wonderful photographs to take home with them to remind them of their amazing adventure in Banff National Park.
